Two-tailed Bristletails (2-4mm) are tiny wingless invertebrates with translucent white flexible bodies that live in damp locations, usually under logs, stones and in leaf litter. They feed on plant debris and dead insects. Bristletail species are difficult to tell apart without microscopic examination. They are fairly common but not often recorded. Nymphs resemble miniature adults.
