Campiglossa malaris
Member of the family Tephritidae which contains over 190 known species. Thank you to Essex Field Club recorder Del Smith and specialist Laurence Clemons, both agreed this is likely to be Campiglossa malaris beause it's larval foodplant is Ragwort (Senecio).
