Well dear do try & come down on Thursday it will be nice for us to go back together. Is Gladys coming as well let me know if you are coming. I am glad to hear about the eggs. Hope the pussies are A-1. Fondest love from us all & don't forget to be sure and come down. The blow will do you good. Rosie xxx"

Sender's message: "Dear E, I hope you had a ripping time last Saturday. The journey was lovely though very tiresome. This is a lovely place don't want to see Cornwall yet and going to spend a whole day in E London next week. The houses and roads here are all so much alike that I don't really know our road until we get to the gate. There are trees everywhere and brick houses with red tiled roofs, and not one bit of stone hedge to be found. I will write you a letter in a day or two and send the address, Love A."

Sender's message: "We had a lovely time yesterday went to the zoo in the morning spent most of the time in the aquarium. Met Miss Jameson 3 o'clock she is very well and had a nice talk. She left again soon after 6pm so we had a walk along the Strand to see the lights. I am going to St. Dengo on Sunday and will come home next Saturday. Love from Winnie and Ed."
