ST. JOHN'S WORT FAMILY

Perforate St. John's Wort Hypericum perforatum  is a perennial that flowers from June to September. When held up to the light tiny perforations can be seen in the leaves, hence the name.

Slender St. John's Wort Hypericum pulchrum is a heathland perennial that flowers from June to August. The yellow flowers usually have a touch of red. It reddish stems are roundish with heart-shaped opposite leaves.
