Blackbird

Turdus merula

In contrast to the adult males, which have solid black feathers and a prominent bright yellow eye-ring, females and young blackbirds display dark brown or greyish-brown bodies, often featuring subtle streaking or mottling on their breasts. The bill can range from dark brown to yellowish depending on the bird's age, sex, and season.
