Drought Conditions

The extended period of hot and dry weather this summer has resulted in the water level dropping in the lake. In some parts the water's edge was 5 metres from the bank making it possible to walk where the mud had dried out. The exposed mud revealed sticks, logs, bricks and empty swan mussel shells.
