Gypsywort grows in wet locations. It is slightly hairy plant with small odourless flowers (4mm) which grow in dense whorls at the base of the uppermost leaves. It is a member of the Mint family, but lacks a strong fragrance. The leaves possess a mild scent with an overall fragrance being fairly mild and not especially strong.
